ShaHuskies illustration chronicles the artistic explorations of Matt Szychowski, a Maryland local who received his BA from UMBC in Visual Arts. His primary medium is watercolors and also enjoys drawing, acrylic painting, and sculpture. He implements texture, depth, and a great deal of detail into much of his work.

 

He has always been most passionate about writing. His children's book The Little Green Kitten and the Pinecone is now available for sale. It tells the story of a kitten who has a lot of big feelings about a pinecone, and the story acts as a metaphor to help illustrate for children the process of dealing with emotions that may be negative or difficult to handle.

 

He's currently working on a couple different children's books, a fantasy novel trilogy, among other big picture projects and many in progress paintings.
